Hello there Lil' Sis!

A.L.B. was born at 9:36 on March 9th

... she weighed 4lbs 6oz ...

... measured in at 17.25 inches ...

... delivered via C-section at 32 weeks, 2 gestational days ...

... you'll find her in the Intensive Care Nursery for the next 2 -3 weeks ...

(Hopefully she & Momma will be up for company soon!)

Cheesecake

I just put the birthday cheesecake in the fridge so it will be nice and chilled for tomorrow. Hopefully it will turn out okay. It's the first I've made from scratch.
So far one lesson has been learned -- you don't need to smoosh the graham cracker crumbs on the top inch of the pan... you just don't have that much filling. So there will be crumbles on the top as well when I go to take the sides off. Oh well, crumbs at least taste good. Just won't win any awards for looks.
Live and learn.
(Hopefully it will be a yummy lesson to practice!)

I just spent over 7 minutes watching this... for that alone, I thought it was worthy of sharing.

This guy is brave to spend thousands on a huge model plane, then do acro andspins with it!

Watch the X-1 it drops.

Later, a couple of parachutes eject from it, and it spins,

but... somehow it lands.

I haven't been there yet... (maybe a place to go this weekend!) but according to their website, The Emporium should be open again!

This really amuses me. In one of my college courses, I had a group assignment in which we presentationed a commercial form of this... I think it was our version of a fun way to help people seek mental health treatment!
