Ideas anyone?

Keith's looking for a particular product, that may not even be out there. He's in search of plastic wall mounted cabinets (versus base cabinets). They're for the garage, which is why he wants plastic & off the floor -- moisture issues. We're in desperate need for storage. So, if anybody out there knows of a store, brand, website, etc. that may be of assistance, we'd greatly appreciate it. :)

Sing-A-Long time

Buffy has been re-invented!
This is how Buffy was experienced before at home...

And now add some audience participation...
It's a
Buffy Sing-A-Long for "Once More With Feeling".
(I couldn't post it directly, you'll have to see it via the Once More With Feeling link.)

I didn't want to spoil the show for those who haven't seen this episode. So I picked a video clip that appears in the beginning. However the site I found shows many more videos. Check them out if you'd like.

And you thought Buffy was long gone!
(Silly Rabbit! Er, 'Bunny' I mean.)

Brrr

I want Springtime. :(
My picture doesn't show off winter's splendors.
(As Green, Blue, Brown does so beautifully...)
But then again, I'm not trying too hard.
I look out back & get depressed.
Now if it was warm & things were sprouting
-- I'd be out there.
But since I'm not, you'll have to make do with this...

my indoor sprouts. ;)

A treat from KC

Hey what's in there... give it to me... now... I want catnip NOW!!!

One for each so they wouldn't fight. (Yeah right. I had to pick up the toys to save for later -- The grey hog sat on both & wouldn't share.)

Mmmm... Catnip! The kitties say thanks!

More pictures from the weekend

Everybody wants to be a Guitar Hero!

Visiting

I should have started this earlier today. Now I'm exhausted & ready for bed. But I know it's been a while since I posted... So I feel obligated. Especially since I had such a good weekend!

Friday after work, I hopped in the car & went out to see KC at her new place. The drive was absolutely gorgeous! It was a crisp, clear, sunny day - I would have stopped to take pictures, but I just wanted to get there as soon as I could.

Helped unpack some boxes & organize the kitchen.

Had a good meal at Max & Irma's... did a LITTLE shopping for her baby (they can get so expensive!)... Tried to see a scary movie, but it ended up being cheesy -- still had fun, even with the teeny boppers with their small bladders and cell phones... Then discovered Guitar Hero -- we all had some fun there!

It was a well deserved visit for us. The weekend just went by too quickly. :( [And I even stayed an extra night!!] At least the drive this morning was also a good one. Perfect weather for a drive!

I hope everyone out there had a good weekend too! :)

A good weekend... and it's only half way done

The last two days were rather eventful. :)

Last night we went to the movies for a "
Great Cheap Date" at the Plaza. (If you're ever in town for a few days, it's a 'Top Ten' thing to do. In my book anyway. I fell in love with the place about 10 years ago. I still have that first impression formed in my head... Initially it seemed kind of small, only 2 theatre screens, but once you're at your seat you realize everybody has a table in front of them with plenty of room to stretch out. But wait, it got even better -- order a delicious gob, or better yet, a meal complete with popcorn & nachos with cheese! Salivating yet? The cost may have gone up since then, but it's still well worth it. And now they get much newer releases to keep up with the "competition" - I say sarcastically.) Not that we needed a reason to go, but often plans to do so get pushed to the side. I wanted it to be an early anniversary date, since a weeknight definitely wouldn't be likely to happen. It was a good night. :)

Then today we went downtown to "
Scott's By Dam" for THEE BEST tacos around. (Not 'the' but 'thee'! Say it with me "Thee Best!") Another "Top Ten" in my book. This bar is a few paces away from the War Memorial for you hockey fans out there. But if you're going for a taco, there will be nothing but standing room (if that) prior to a game. While there, we came up with some questions that had to be answered upon my return home. (Internet search engines are fabulous things!) Let's see how well you do with the answers off the top of your head...

1. Being in a bar there's lots of sports related items on the wall. One of which was a Steeler's license plate. Seeing this reminded me of a question I asked Keith a while ago about the emblem. We sort of had an idea, but couldn't come up with specifics. So, what's the story behind the Steeler's logo? If you have an idea, post it, then find the answer
here. (I actually found a couple of sites with useful info. but this one is short & sweet.)

2. Which then lead to the boys talking about the different football teams & their names/helmets. Such as the 49ers >> Californian gold seekers; as well as others that I can't recall at the moment. But the team in question is The Browns. Panthers are panthers, Eagles are eagles, Browns are huh??? So the question is, where did the team's name come from? Find your answer
here.

3. The last question came about from our food. We had a Heinz ketchup bottle on the table & started talking about the pickle logo. How does a pickle go with ketchup? In a round about way, here's
an answer. Doesn't exactly answer "why a pickle?" but you get the idea. If you have more info that that which I provide, please, let me know. Inquiring minds over here!

So for being Saturday evening, this has already been a better weekend then most. Not that others are bad mind you -- well deserved down time -- just nothing worthy of blogging about!

Hope everyone else out there has a fabulous weekend too!!!
