Ok, I've been wanting to know this answer for quite some time. What is the purpose/origins of the tassels/streamers (what do you call them?) on motorcycle handlebars?
Everytime I see this I want to know. There has to be some original purpose/reason for it.
In comparason to bicycles, girls decorate their bikes with them, but boys don't. Yet you see them on motorcycles all the time. Definately different purposes for them.
